Pre-trip Pic/Introductions

Meet the girls:
Asli is a painting major and has been my best friend since I started college and roommate for two years. She and I have been through every possible experience together (and oddly enough, often at the same time). We've been able to live together this long without killing each other- we get in fights and quickly get over it- so hopefully that trend will continue over the next two months. I promised her that I would come visit her in Turkey someday. Well, that day came as soon as any of us could have guessed and we're both very excited about showing me some of her turf. She wants the trip to be spontaneous.

Hannah is a friend that I originally met through the Illustration Deptartment, but never really got to know until this past winter/spring. A mutual friend introduced us and we subsequently ran into each other several times afterwards. She invited me to yoga (which I loved, and introduced to Asli who now loves it) and we started hanging out more and more. When I mentioned the trip to Europe, she expressed a lot of interest, and soon after I invited her, she was a confirmed trip-mate. She's a little more of a planner, like myself.
Hannah and I are flying into Istanbul on the same flight from London and Asli will be picking us up at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

All three of us are pretty laid back and physically active and I think that we'll make great travel companions. We just need to keep in mind that we probably will argue now and then, and that it's not the end of the world. Ultimately, this is going to be a trip that we will never forget and I cannot wait to get started!
